Kim Ramorini
Superintendent

Kim has served as the superintendent and principal at Augusta Schools since 2020, following 13 years of teaching in northern California. She finds joy in her daily interactions at school and relishes the opportunity to make impactful decisions behind the scenes. Outside of work, Kim values spending time with her husband and children, engaging in activities like camping, ranching, sports and the outdoors.
Jamie Fuller
Business Manager Clerk

Jamie has been the business manager/clerk for Augusta Public Schools for the last 12 years. She enjoys keeping the finances in good standing for the school, as well as the opportunity to connect with students during breakfast each day. In her free time, Jamie enjoys spending time with her husband Cleve, son Rhen and her corgi Dexter. She also enjoys cooking and riding horses with her family.
Cindy Gonzalez
Office Manager/ Preschool

Cindy is the school secretary, preschool teacher and after school coordinator and loves the diversity of her roles. Her varied responsibilities allow her to engage with both students and staff across the school. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and cherishing moments with her family. Cindy joined the school district in 2010, bringing her passion for education and her love of students to Augusta.
Shelby Buckingham

Shelby has dedicated nine years to teaching kindergarten at Augusta Public Schools, cherishing the unique stories and boundless enthusiasm of her young students. Outside the classroom, she finds joy in ranching, horseback riding and staying active with sports like basketball and volleyball.

​Mara has been teaching in Augusta for three years and is the first grade teacher in Augusta. Teaching early elementary students is her passion, and witnessing their enthusiasm and love for learning brings her immense joy. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, baking and unleashing her creativity, as well as spending time with her husband and three boys.
Teri Bean

Over 30 years experience
​While Teri has taught for more than three decades, 15 of those years were spent right here in Augusta. She has taught kindergarten, first grade and second grade and relishes the opportunity to nurture young learners. Married with two children and four granddaughters, family time is her priority. In her leisure, Teri enjoys marking cards, gardening, camping, kayaking and cherishing moments with loved ones. Her passion for teaching and devotion to family define her life's fulfillment.
Konner McKay
2nd Grade
Two years experience
Konner teaches second grade in Augusta and has two years of teaching experience. His passion for working with students extends to his role as an assistant track and field coach, where he mentors and guides older students. Growing up on a small farm in Helena, he spends weekends assisting his family and summers working for the U.S. Forest Service. Outside of work, Konner enjoys hiking, fishing and hunting, embracing Montana's outdoor beauty every chance he gets.

Megan Krone, a first year teacher at Augusta Public Schools, is passionate about starting her teaching journey in third grade. Outside of school, Megan leads an active lifestyle, enjoying ranching, reading, outdoor activities, coaching and participating in various sports. Her commitment to helping others and her love for both teaching and outdoor pursuits define her well-rounded approach to life.

Jeri brings a wealth of experience across various grade levels to Augusta and has a deep-rooted passion for teaching. She embraces each day as a chance for personal and professional growth. Jeri's family, including her husband, two sons and two grandchildren, brings her immense joy, and she treasures moments spent walking, reading and bonding with her loved ones.
Cindy Nelson

Cindy is a dedicated teacher who has spent the last nine years at Augusta Public Schools. She received her BA in education from the University of Montana and has a minor in Library Media Sciences. Cindy comes from a family of teachers and has always dreamed of being a teacher. She loves gardening, reading books, fishing and hiking, and listening to all her students' adventures. Her son Joe followed in her footsteps and is also a teacher in Augusta.
Amie Weider
Elk Creek Colony Teacher (K-8)

With 29 years of teaching experience, Amie has dedicated 13 years to teaching grades K-8 at Elk Creek Colony School, focusing on math education. Her passion lies in making math engaging and accessible to her students. Beyond the classroom, Amie extends her dedication to education by volunteering with the Augusta Booster Club and Augusta Youth Center, enriching the lives of youth in Augusta through mentorship and support.
Jeff Smith
Elk Creek Colony Teacher (K-8)

Jeff has taught at Augusta Public Schools since 2022. He has past experience teaching educational technology to students across multiple school districts and settings. Jeff enjoys snowboarding in the winter and wakeboarding in the summer. He also loves exploring and hiking trails in the backcountry of the Rocky Mountains.
Tami Krone

In her 28 years of teaching, Tami has imparted knowledge in special education, elementary education and family consumer sciences. Outside the classroom, she finds joy in her family, animals and friendships. Tami retired from Choteau Schools and now works as a part-time special education teacher, bringing her wealth of experience and dedication to her students.

Tim Love is currently in his second decade of teaching industrial arts, advocating for hands-on learning experiences. He finds fulfillment in witnessing his students engage with building projects and fostering their practical skills. On weekends, you can find Tim soaking up Montana’s outdoors and watching high school sporting events.
Cody Barnes
Agricultural Education
Two years experience
Cody is a dedicated agricultural education teacher at Augusta Public Schools. With a passion for agriculture and a desire to share his knowledge, Cody has been teaching for two years. He is proud to be teaching in his hometown and has helped to reestablish an active FFA chapter at the school. In addition to teaching, Cody also assists his grandparents with their Red Angus cattle operation outside of Augusta.
Janette Arps
K-12 Physical Education & Athletic Director

Janette is a devoted K-12 health enhancement teacher, traffic education instructor and athletic director. She has coached volleyball, basketball and track and has been with Augusta School District since 1997. Janette is a proud Augusta High School graduate who loves her hometown community and school. When not at school she enjoys spending time with her son Ryan and friends. For Janette, every day is a great day to be an elk.
Megan Genthner

Megan serves as both an art teacher and librarian in Augusta, fostering a positive environment where students can express themselves and learn life skills through creativity. Outside of school, she loves spending time outdoors with her family and actively coaches softball for the Augusta Youth Center, further enriching the lives of young individuals in her community.
Kathy Murphy
FACS & Guidance Counselor

An Augusta native, Kathy has been a dedicated teacher at Augusta Schools since 1989. She was initially a part-time FACS teacher and she later became a full-time counselor and teacher in 1999. Kathy adores her job and her students. She also serves as pep club co-advisor and student council advisor. Outside work, she cherishes time with her large, blended family. Kathy enjoys kayaking and traveling with her husband and their dog Harley, exploring national parks and other scenic spots across the country.
Dan Tracy

Dan has been teaching at Augusta Schools for 11 years. He enjoys teaching history, as it allows him to teach students writing, reading, research and study skills that will help them in their personal post-high school endeavors. Dan truly enjoys working with the district’s students, staff and community members and is also a bus driver for the district. Beyond school, Dan enjoys running, biking, hiking and fishing in Montana's outdoors.

Emily has been teaching english in Augusta since 2012. She loves exploring literature, diagramming sentences and helping students learn the craft of writing. When she’s not at school, she’s outside riding horses, camping, gardening, doing ranch work, kayaking or spending time with her four kids and husband.
Megan Barrett

Three years experience
Megan, a former clinical laboratory scientist, has been teaching at Augusta Public Schools for three years, embracing her passion for science with students. She hopes to inspire them to appreciate nature and the living world around them. With her husband and four children, they cheer on their kids' activities and enjoy skiing across Montana (the goal is to ski every hill in Montana together one day). In addition, Megan is a photographer and loves to hike in her down time.
Joe Nelson

Joe, a native of Augusta, returned to his hometown in 2021 to teach mathematics, drawing upon his background in physics. Immersed in the world of math, he finds fulfillment in sharing its importance with students and witnessing their learning journey. Alongside teaching, Joe coaches junior high boys basketball. Outside the classroom, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Suzie, and indulges in hobbies like fly-fishing, hiking and reading.
Donna Morgan

A native of Boston, Donna has worked at Augusta Public Schools since 1998. She finds immense joy in supporting students on their educational journeys. Donna's dedication extends beyond teaching; she has stepped in for janitorial and cooking duties when needed and currently serves as the licensed boiler operator for Augusta Schools. Outside of work, Donna's interests include horses and she has volunteered as an EMT for over 20 years.

Ellen has dedicated eight years to serving as a classroom title aide in Augusta, relishing the diversity of grade levels and celebrating student successes. Alongside her work, she balances the role of being a mother to three teenage boys. During her leisure time, Ellen finds fulfillment in assisting on the family farm/ranch, nurturing her garden and pursuing her passion for sewing.

Heath joined the school staff in February 2024. He brings over 10 years of construction, maintenance and troubleshooting knowledge and experience to the table. He has a cheery demeanor and is often quick with a joke. In his off-time, he enjoys fishing, hunting, DIY projects/up-cycling and hanging out with his dogs.
