Special Education Full-Time Aide

Employment opportunity at Augusta Schools. 

Augusta School District #45 is seeking enthusiastic, driven and passionate applicants for a special education full time aide. This aid position salary will DEPEND ON EXPERIENCE and as a full time employee you have access to benefits including insurance, retirement and more. 

The special education paraprofessionals provide critical support to students with special needs and help to make the learning environment more inclusive and supportive.  They add another layer of support to the student under the direction of a certified teacher. SPED Paraprofessionals perform a variety of tasks relating to the physical,  social/emotional, and instructional needs of students in a classroom setting to support academic success and wellbeing of students.

Become a Bus Driver

Augusta Public Schools is in great need of more bus drivers. If you are able, willing or interested in becoming a bus driver, please follow the steps below.

  • Follow the steps to become a bus driver here

  • Route driver wage - $17/hour

  • Activity driver wage - $13/hour (includes time of being at the activity) 

  • Must pass a background test

  • Must turn in a non-certified application to Augusta Public Schools found at the link below.

Substitute Teachers

We are currently looking for more substitute teachers to fill the needs at Augusta Schools. If you're interested, please feel out the application at the link below. Substitute teachers base pay begins at $14/hour for non-certified substitutes & $17/hour certified substitutes (hold a valid Montana teaching license).
