Free Breakfast & Lunch Program for All Students!

Augusta Schools is now part of a universal breakfast and lunch program called the Community Eligibility Provision for the 2025–26 school year. This means every student can enjoy healthy, USDA-approved breakfast and lunch every school day—at no cost to all families!

We’re thrilled to offer this and encourage all students to take part. Healthy meals fuel learning, and your support helps ensure we can continue offering this program in the future.

While this change is a big win for families, the accompanying reimbursement rates leave our district with a gap in the Lunch Fund budget. I have already reached out to many families, but if you’ve paid for school meals in the past and are able, please consider making a voluntary donation—just a fraction of what you might have spent on breakfasts and lunches before. Your generosity will help us keep healthy meals on every plate.
